  • Structural Reinforcements

    Reinforcing the column load of Arthur Ashe Stadium to support future in-stadium construction and extensive renovations in later phases.

  • Player Performance Center Foundation

    Construction begins on the first two stories of the Player Performance Center in Parking Lot A, with parking facilities on the first level.

  • Behind-the-Scenes Work

    Most of the work in Phase 1 will be behind the scenes, with minimal impact on the 2025 US Open experience for fans and players.

  • Stadium Overhaul

    The existing courtside and suite levels will be demolished and replaced with an expanded courtside bowl and two new luxury suite levels.

  • Completion of the Player Performance Center

    The top two floors of the Player Performance Center will be built, but player access will not be available until Phase 3, when the interior is completed.

  • Continuing Behind-the-Scenes Work

    This phase focuses on heavy construction work, setting the stage for the next major steps in the renovation, including significant upgrades to fan amenities.

  • Grand Entrance and New Levels

    The iconic Grand Entrance, designed by Daniel Libeskind, will open alongside new loge and promenade levels, with an expansive concourse and premium bar offering views of the Fountain Plaza.

  • Enhanced Fan Amenities

    All concourses will be fully enhanced, with upgraded retail, food and beverage options, restrooms, and additional escalators and elevators to improve fan flow.

  • Completion of the Player Performance Center

    The interior of the Player Performance Center will be completed, providing players and teams with access to state-of-the-art facilities by the 2027 US Open.
